Term dates & school times

The official part of the school day starts when the school doors open at 8.50am.

Morning registration closes at 9.00am. 

The children are collected at 3.30pm.

This includes breaks but not optional before or after school activities.

The total time this amounts to in a typical week is 33 hours & 20 minutes. 

Spring Term
Tuesday 2nd January 2024 - Inset Day III
Wednesday 3rd January 2024 - Children return to school
Friday 9th February 2024 - Last Day of Term (3:30pm finish)
Monday 12th February - Friday 16th February 2024 - HALF TERM
Monday 19th February 2024 - Children return to school
Thursday 28th March 2024 - Last Day of Term (1:30pm finish)

Summer Term
Monday 15th April 2024 - Children return to school
Friday 24th May 2024 - Last day of Term (3:30pm finish)
Monday 27th May - Friday 31st May 2024 - HALF TERM
Monday 3rd June 2024 - Children return to school
Friday 28th June 2024 - Inset Day IV (GLF Celebration Day)
Friday 19ths July 2024 - Last day of Term (1:30pm finish)
Monday 22nd July 2024 - Inset Day V
Tuesday 23rd July 2024 - Inset Day VI

Autum Term
Monday 2nd September 2024 - Inset Day
Tuesday 3rd Septemebr 2024 - Inset Day
Wednesday 4th September 2024 - Children return to school Year 1 - Year 6

Please note that at the end of every full term, ie Christmas, Easter and the Summer holiday, school finishes at 1.30pm.  School finishes at the normal time of 3.30pm at the end of each half term.
